The Opportunity:
Our client is looking for a contract CAD Technician to assist their design team by producing accurate, high quality drawings using AutoCAD software.
You will work as part of the highways division, who produce detailed designs for a variety of innovative schemes across the UK.
The ideal candidate would come from a highways background, but this role would suit an enthusiastic technician with experience in the civils, energy, and utilities, rail or telecoms industry.
Skills and Experience:
- 2 years' experience working as a CAD technician
- A thorough knowledge of AutoCAD software
- Able to interpret survey data and calculations to create an accurate CAD model
- A proven background developing custom drawings to a high standard
- A recognised qualification in CAD design
- Any experience with Smart Motorway Technology would be highly beneficial
