We are seeking an experienced Crafted Quality Leader to support the delivery of the Crafted Quality and Perceived Quality attributes across multiple vehicle zones for a premium automotive programme. The role requires strong cross-functional coordination, engineering quality understanding, and the ability to drive fit/finish excellence in design and delivery. Lead the Crafted Quality process for assigned vehicle zones

Coordinate meetings with Design, Engineering, Surfacing, DVA, DSI, and Manufacturing

Review geometry, surfaces, gaps/flush, and assembly processes

Evaluate Bill of Design, sketchbooks, and CAD models for alignment with quality targets

Track and escalate issues where needed

Benchmark competitor vehicles for best-in-class quality

Support GD&T, locator strategies, DVA and dimensional studies

Contribute to continuous improvements within Perceived Quality (PQ)

Experience in Crafted Quality, Perceived Quality, Dimensional Systems, DVA/DSI

Strong engineering understanding of fit & finish, gap/flush, and assembly quality

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive issue closure

Problem-solving with structured methodologies (8D, DMAIC, etc.)

Ability to interpret CAD data (CATIA/3DX exposure beneficial)

Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management

APQP / WCPA knowledge

Experience in Engineering Quality / Attribute Delivery / Systems Engineering

CAD visualisation experience
