Chief/Lead Architect, Systems Architect: Open Source, Containerization, Virtualization, Kubernetes, IaaS, Openstack, OpenNebula, SUSE Harvester, PaaS OKD KubeSphere, RKE2, Terraform, ansible SAFe, Arc42 Switzerland Zurich / Bern Fluent German (Swiss resident needed) Long term Contract Freelance Greenfield project

2 x experts needed.

MUST live in Switzerland.

Fluent / native German MUST

START ASAP - people have to be open to getting a full PSP (security vetting)

Responsibilities:

Expertise as a System Architect in planning, designing, and implementing scalable private cloud environments based on open-source solutions.

Specific experience in:
  • Containerization and virtualization techniques with Kubernetes (including bare-metal virtualization)
  • open-source technologies such as OpenStack, OpenNebula, or SUSE Harvester
  • open-source technologies such as OKD, KubeSphere,
  • Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • General DevSecOps practices and agile methodologies
  • Documentation of system architectures


We seek experts in OpenStack technology.

You will be key in driving and leading this Architecture and chose the technology that will go with this.

You will be Designing the architecture from scratch, greenfield, you lead/guide/steer, build this digital platform.

Planning, how it will look like, designing, and implementing scalable private cloud environments based on open-source solutions.

This is a crucial backbone IT Infrastructure.
