Cisco ACI EVPN/VXLAN, IOS-XE/XR, BGP, HSRP, VRRP, VLANs IaaS, Security 12 months

Our client is looking for a number of highly skilled Cisco Dev Ops Engineers to work in their support group providing round clock support for their global organisation. There will be to positions in each time zone, this one is for USA and being based near Newtown Square Pennsylvania will be the preference. A great deal of the work will be remote but there may be the need to be on site occasionally. There will also be a shift rota to be on call for other regions. But this will not be onerous.

The role will be extremely interesting and will work as part of a strategic team delivering improvements to service for the client and their global client base, so flexibility and thinking outside of the box will be great assets for these roles.

Technical Skills

  • Expert knowledge in Cisco ACI and EVPN/VXLAN technologies (3+ years operational experience)
  • Strong competence in switching (ACI/NXOS), Routers (IOS-XE, IOS-XR) and network security
  • Expertise in network technologies such as BGP, HSRP, VRRP, Routing Domains, VLANs, VxLAN, VRF, etc.
  • High understanding of Cloud computing, IaaS, hosted systems experience with SDN and virtualization technologies in the Network Area.
  • Strong abilities in developing network designs and concepts.
  • Strong network automation skills (Ansible, Python, Bash Scripting

  • Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously in a fast paced and multicultural organization.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving.
  • Autonomous and proactive working behaviour.
  • Strong leadership skills in coordinating and leading troubleshooting sessions
