Wir suchen für unseren Kunden einen Claim Manager Chemical Industry UK (m/f/d)

Aufgabenstellung

Extension of Time (EOT) Management
  1. Assess, prepare, and administer Extension of Time claims in accordance with contract terms and governing law
  2. Analyse delay events, including employer-caused delays, variations, force majeure, and concurrent delays
  3. Collaborate with planning/scheduling teams to review delay analyses (e.g., critical path impact)
  4. Ensure EOT notices and submissions are issued accurately and within contractual timeframes
  5. Negotiate EOT entitlements with clients, consultants, and subcontractors Contract
Change & Variations Management
  1. Manage the contractual process for variations, change orders, and scope amendments
  2. Evaluate time and cost impacts arising from design changes, instructions, and unforeseen conditions
  3. Maintain comprehensive records to support change entitlement, including correspondence and approvals
  4. Support the negotiation and agreement of variations with internal and external stakeholders
  5. Ensure changes are formally incorporated into contract documentation
General Contract Administration
  1. Draft, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and amendments
  2. Advise project teams on contractual rights, obligations, and risk exposure
  3. Maintain the contract register, tracking notices, approvals, milestones, and entitlements
  4. Support dispute avoidance and resolution activities, including claims preparation and defence
  5. Assist with audits, close-out documentation, and final accounts

Must Haves

  1. Very experienced in complex construction claim negotiations
  2. Knowledge of UK law
  3. offensive, strong negotiator
  4. Experienced in engineering projects
  5. business fluent English
