Project focus:

Cold Commissioning:

Conduct system checks based on P&ID and final as-built revisions.
Supervise DCS and field activities during LOOP checks and transmitter adjustments.
Perform motor rotation tests on pumps, fans, and other rotating equipment.
Adjust valve limit switches and check valve positions.
Ensure system cleanliness and inspect for any issues.
Train client personnel on relevant procedures.
Flush boiler and pipe systems with and without pump assistance.
Conduct reliability tests on operational measuring equipment.
Perform cold functional checks and DCS logic verifications as per process documentation.
Test and optimize automatic functions, including manual and automatic controls, step sequences, and control loops.
Adjust and document safety-related systems in collaboration with the Notified Body and DCS supplier.
Oversee vendor specialists for package units and black box systems according to process demands.
Monitor 24/7 operations of the Waste-to-Energy plant in a three-shift system, ensuring proper commissioning of waste firing operations.
Hot Commissioning:

Troubleshoot process issues based on management commands.
Optimize overall process performance during hot commissioning.
Communicate regularly with commissioning site management during daily meetings.
Train client personnel for continuous operation.
Prepare, execute, and document performance and guarantee tests.
Key skills and Experience required:

Proficiency in German (spoken and written, minimum B1 level)
Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or process)
Good physical fitness
Ability to handle pressure in case of process disturbances
Strong organizational skills
Cost-conscious approach
Ability to work independently
Team-oriented mindset
Goal-oriented and focused
Extensive experience in process plant commissioning, particularly in waste-to-energy plants
Proficient in MS Office
