Contract Embedded C++ Engineer (6-month Contract)
Client: Embedded Software House
Location: Edinburgh, United Kingdom
Contract Length: 6 months (with a high chance of a long-term extension)
Rate: £500 - £550 per day (outside of IR35)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid working (2 days onsite)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Embedded C++ Engineer to join a renowned Embedded Software House in the vibrant city of Edinburgh. As an industry leader, they specialise in delivering cutting-edge software solutions for Embedded systems across various sectors.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a dynamic team of engineers to design, develop, and maintain Embedded software solutions using C++ and C.
Participate in the entire software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to testing and deployment.
Write efficient, maintainable, and high-quality code for Embedded systems.
Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware issues to ensure optimal system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement software architecture designs.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Embedded C++ programming.
Strong experience with C or Python.
Solid understanding of Embedded systems.
Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-have:
Previous experience with different software architectures.
Knowledge of device modifications to electric heaters, solar panels or vehicle chargers.

This Contract offers a competitive daily rate of £500 - £550, ensuring you are fairly rewarded for your expertise and contributions. This Contract falls outside of IR35, providing you with greater flexibility and financial benefits. Additionally, they promote a hybrid working environment, allowing you to work from home for three days a week and be onsite for two days.
