Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field
- Less than 2 years of IT Security experience, candidates must be in an Analyst role NOT already in an engineering role.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems.
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure and security concepts.
- Experience in administering and maintaining applications or tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices.
Preferred
- Relevant certifications in cybersecurity (eg, CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker)
Responsibilities
- Support Jira Ticket Management
- Assist the team in creating and managing Jira tickets for cybersecurity projects and tasks.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of ticket details, including descriptions, priorities, and assigned resources.
- Monitor the status of tickets and provide updates to stakeholders as needed.
- Manage user access and permissions to the Sustain Planner application.
- Monitor and maintain application functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with the development team to address any technical issues or enhancements.
- Work closely with senior analysts and cybersecurity professionals to gain knowledge and experience in the field.
- Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and share insights to improve processes and operations.
- Actively engage in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
