Dear Consultant,


We are looking for a Data Center Engineer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise infrastructure in on-site data centers. The engineer will perform hardware installation, racking, cabling, troubleshooting, break/fix work, and support for compute, network, and storage systems.   2. Contract: 12 months | Start: January 2026
  3. Role: Data Center Engineer
  4. Rate: Best reasonable market rate
  5. Languages: French + English

Responsibilities:
Daily hardware checks & data center operational tasks
Install, rack & cable servers, storage & network devices
Troubleshoot hardware failures, network connectivity, and power issues
Perform break/fix tasks, firmware updates, diagnostics
Work with remote teams on P1/P2 incidents
Fiber/copper patching, labeling, patch panel updates
Asset inventory, tagging, rack diagrams
Support hardware provisioning & decommissioning
Enforce data center security & SOPs
Vendor escorting & RMA coordination
Update tickets in ServiceNow/Remedy/Jira

Skills Required:
4–6 yrs hands-on data center operations
Strong experience with Dell / HP / Lenovo / Cisco UCS
SAN, fibre channel, storage hardware
Basic network troubleshooting
KVM/ILO/DRAC/BIOS familiarity
Strong documentation discipline
