Data Center SME - Mechanical/Smart Shelter/HVAC/Cooling/Network - Danish Speaking
We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our customer and play a key role in the design, setup, and management of IT Data Centre facilities, including MDF and IDF environments. This role will focus on vendor coordination, ensuring compliance with established standards, and maintaining critical infrastructure components such as smart shelters, HVAC and cooling systems, network configurations, and electrical installations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure technologies within large organisations, with expertise in specifying, designing, and overseeing IT solutions. While direct operational management of data centres is not required, a deep understanding of their setup, implementation, and maintenance is essential. The role involves working closely with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure that data centre environments are established and maintained to the highest standards.
We are particularly interested in candidates with a versatile engineering background, such as mechanical engineers with a broad and adaptable mindset. The ability to work collaboratively, think critically, and ensure high-quality service delivery is essential. The role will also involve managing major system incidents that could impact business continuity, ensuring rapid response and resolution.
