Position Type: Full-time Contract

Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced and highly motivated Data Engineers to join our brand-new team. The project involves rebuilding and assessing issues in our existing platform, requiring a deep dive into its intricacies to identify root problems, develop solutions, and execute them effectively. This long-term project offers an exciting opportunity to work on groundbreaking technology with a team of dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and understand the existing platform to identify issues and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement data solutions using GCP, BigQuery, and DBT.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions.
Continuously monitor and optimize platform performance.
Document processes and solutions for future reference and team use.
Provide strategic insights to guide the development and evolution of the platform.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
Proficiency in GCP, BigQuery, and DBT.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Reasons for Vacancy:
Our client is undergoing a significant platform rebuild and needs a dedicated team of Data Engineers to address existing issues and develop robust solutions. Initially, we need 15 engineers, with an additional 15 to be onboarded in the following month. This exciting and memorable project offers a long-term commitment with 4-5 years of work on 12-month rolling contracts.
