Description

Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for 3 experienced Data Engineers to join our client's team in São Paulo, working onsite 3 days per week in a hybrid model.

This role requires strong expertise in modern data platforms, hands-on engineering skills, and the ability to collaborate in an Agile, DevOps-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and data products.
  • Work extensively with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, Unity Catalog, AI/BI).
  • Develop in Python (including PySpark) and perform advanced SQL programming with query tuning.
  • Implement best practices in CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, and Azure DevOps (ADO) workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable data solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Fluent Portuguese and professional working proficiency in English.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Databricks, Python, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Background in modern data engineering, data lakes, and distributed compute.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control, pipelines, and monitoring frameworks.

  • Start date: ASAP - flexible
  • Type of contract: Freelance - 6 months (+ extensions)
  • Location: São Paulo - hybrid
