Description
Hello everyone,
for one of our best clients, we are looking for a Data Platform Engineer (m/f/d) to start immediately. The team is shaping the transition from a centralized data landscape to a modern data mesh approach and is building the new technological foundation for data work in Google Cloud.
Start: February
Duration: 6 months with option for extension
Workload: 4 - 5 days/week
Remote / On-site: 100% remote
Skills:
Very good knowledge in data platform engineering (3+ years)
Agile builder mindset
Strong foundation in software engineering (Kotlin, Java, Go, Python)
Experience with IaC (Terraform), containers (Docker) & cloud (ideally GCP)
Affinity for modern data technologies (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake)
Agile way of working, good to very good english skills
Tasks:
Development of central services & APIs (Kotlin, Python, Go, Java) in GCP
Infrastructure automation using Terraform & Docker
Further development of tooling (including DataHub)
Pair programming, DevOps approach & automated testing
