Delphix Technical Product Specialist
Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Delphix Technical Product Specialist.
You will be required to use an FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company for this role.
Key Requirements:
- The Delphix TDM Engineering team are responsible for the build, run and evolution of the Delphix test data management service.
- The team brings DevOps/SelfService capabilities to application developers & testers (our internal customers) and is responsible for the support and expansion of the Delphix capability both on premises and in the cloud.
- The team is looking to hire a technical product specialist.
- The candidate must have experience supporting database technology and delivering database solutions to application teams, as well as an understanding of data types, structures and schemas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and maintaining the Delphix infrastructure including Linux and Windows Servers (upgrades, patching, evergreening, etc).
- Supporting and maintaining the Delphix service including following and creating internal processes, procedures and related documentation.
- Building data virtualisation and masking pipelines.
- Infrastructure capacity management.
- Supporting internal customers.
- Working with vendor support and consultation services.
- Creation of automation using Scripting languages.
- Following strict change management processes.
- Some out-of-hours infrastructure support.
Key Experience:
- An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with Scripting (Python, Bash, Powershell etc).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of at least one database technology (Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, Sybase, etc).
- Linux & Windows operating systems skills.
- Experience working in an agile work environment is preferred.
- Experience with Delphix virtualization and masking is a plus, but not required.
