Job Title: Desktop Support


Day Rate: £18 per hour

Location: Edinburgh, Onsite.

Key Skills: Security Cleared

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive desktop and remote support to users across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site desktop support to users at the Edinburgh Office
  • Deliver remote support to users located in London, Leeds, and home locations.
  • Support HP hardware, peripherals (docking stations, keyboards, mice), and mobile devices (Samsung and iPhone).
  • Manage and support Windows 10/11 environments, MS Outlook, and Office 2016.
  • Perform software installation, configuration, and application support.
  • Handle cabling and patching tasks.
  • Maintain a good knowledge of iPhone and Samsung phone support.
  • Video Conferencing and Telephony Support knowledge preferred but not essential.
  • Ensure high-level administration, call management, and accountability.
  • Act as the central point of contact for on-site users, with support available from London when needed.


  • Candidates must be Security Cleared
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
