Description
Who we are looking for: a full-time editor, about 4 videos per month at the initial stage. Possibly more, everything will depend on the situation.
What you need to be able to do:
- Work in Adobe Premiere Pro or other alternative editing programs
- IMPORTANT: understand boxing and MMA at an above-average level.
(Basically, you will need to be able to distinguish mediocre moments from those that deserve to be in the video, and feel the rhythm of editing so that the order of moments does not make the viewer feel like the story is interrupted.
Also, over time, you will need to independently write a script for the video (for an additional fee) in English. This will also be impossible to do without understanding what the topic of the video is actually about and how to present it to the viewer.
If you have never watched boxing, do not like it and do not follow the news from the world of martial arts, please do not answer this vacancy. Let's not waste each other's time. Thank you!)
- The level of editing is approximately the same as in this video: The day Naoya Inoue got the nickname "Monster" and made the world talk about him. Link to the video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tsqnuLQRBqJp2vAMk53g2GIeCDIrmQrh/view?usp=sharing
That is, in addition to editing itself, you will also need to understand the essence of the video and, depending on the situation, find the necessary frames to stretch the timing. As at the beginning of the video in the example above: the topic of the video is in fact only indirectly related to the fighter's childhood, which the author decided at his own discretion to show at the beginning in order to give the viewer something interesting and rare, unusual from the very beginning of the video. You will need to be able to carry out such manipulations on your own initiative. All this will be discussed personally and, at the beginning, almost completely described in the form of a clear TOR from A to Z.
- Understand how the content ID system works on YouTube. Since the content is not copyrighted, this is very important. Be able to bypass copyright blocking, the ability to read brutal scenes of violence and other unacceptable content on YouTube. In general, experience in this field.
- Have a basic understanding of boxing and mixed martial arts so that there are no misunderstandings between the customer (me) and the contractor (you) during editing.
What I offer:
- Work with increasing payment for a specific video over time
- Increase in the volume of orders over time
- Payment for the actual work done
- Transition to full-time employment if the cooperation meets the expectations of both parties
I give preference to people already working in this field with specific examples of work.
If you have ready-made cases, send them immediately for review. Please do not send videos that are not on the topic of sports or martial arts.
In a personal conversation, you can discuss other details and questions of interest to you. Thank you!
