Our client plays a major role in the Belgian and European energy landscape, building sustainable, green and reliable energy infrastructure. The company is seeking freelancers to work remotely and locally on various national and international projects. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of French or Dutch is an advantage.





Service description:

The mission consists of:



The company is looking for a Testing Service for applications in Asset Management and Market & Adequacy (CRM) domains.

The mission includes test planning, execution, and automation to ensure software quality.

The tester will work closely with developers, project leaders, and the IT Application Manager (ITAM).

The goal is to ensure an adequate quality level before deployment.

The tester will give the final "Go" for deployment from test to acceptance environment.





The service consists of the following tasks:



Writing test plans and test scenarios

Based on existing documentation and functionalities.

Define non-regression tests based on Acceptance Criteria in User Stories.

Include functional, non-functional (volume, performance, security), and integration testing.

Preparing test data

Selecting or creating test data before execution.

Executing test scenarios

Perform tests and document results with logs/screenshots.

Ensure efficiency in testing within the project timeline.

Test automation

Identify test cases for automation.

Implement automated test suites and execute them regularly.

Follow-up of defects

Report and track defects using a bug-tracking tool.

Maintain test documentation with updated results.

Reproduce issues found in acceptance or production environments.

Requirements:



Experience in writing test plans, test design, and test scenarios.

Test automation skills and/or programming/scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, pseudo-code).

Basic knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and query execution.

Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.

Knowledge of RobotFramework (RF) is an asset.

Understanding of basic IT concepts:

Service and Client applications

Web Services, API, Protocols

Front-end, Back-end

Nice to have:

Experience with RabbitMQ.

DevOps ticketing experience.

Security testing experience.

Active, Creative, Autonomous.

Think outside the box.

Result-driven, Pragmatic, and Resilient.

English (Mandatory) – All documentation is in English.

French and/or Dutch (Preferred).

Must have a work permit for Belgium.

Must hold a valid residence permit for Belgium















- Start and Duration:

ASAP – 12 Months extension possible

- Volume:

Approx. 100% (5 days/w), minimum 2 days per week at brussels office

- Work Location:

Remote, Onsite, Belgium
