Description

As a CAPEX Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale capital expenditure projects within pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will oversee the design, construction, and commissioning phases, ensuring that all project milestones are met within scope, budget, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage CAPEX projects from inception to completion, focusing on pharmaceutical facility builds.
  • Oversee both greenfield (new construction) and brownfield (existing site upgrades) projects.
  • Ensure projects comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), industry regulations, and company standards.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, procurement, and external contractors.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders to ensure compliance and smooth project execution.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely issue resolution.


Key Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing CAPEX projects in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
  • Strong background in both greenfield and brownfield project management.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical facility design, construction, and validation processes.
  • Familiarity with GMP, FDA, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in managing multi-million-dollar budgets.
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (PMP certification is a plus).
