Position: ETL Developer (Talend, Snowflake)
Location: Poland (Remote/Onsite as per client requirements)
Contract Type: Freelance / Contract
Rate: Up to 300 PLN/day

We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer to join our client in the Banking domain in Poland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Snowflake, and SQL, along with experience in ETL/ELT processes. Key Requirements:
Talend Experience: 3-5+ years of experience with Talend Software for ETL/ELT development.
SQL Expertise: Strong SQL background, with experience in query tuning, aggregation, grouping, views, and indexing.
Snowflake: Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data warehousing and transformation.
Java (Optional, Preferred): Knowledge of Java for data processing and integration (optional but preferred).
Azure (Optional, Preferred): Experience with Azure Key Vault, Blob Storage, and other Azure services is a plus.
Financial Services (Optional, Preferred): 2-5 years of experience in the financial services or banking industry.
Advanced SQL: Experience with advanced SQL concepts and performance tuning.
Agile Methodology: At least 3 years of experience working within an Agile development environment.
Programming: Experience with object-oriented programming, relational databases (RDBMS), and scripting languages.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Collaboration: Ability to work well within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
ETL/ELT Development: Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Talend and SQL, integrating data from vendor sources to proprietary data models.
Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Managers, and senior developers to understand requirements and design software solutions.
Code Reviews & Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews, write unit and automation tests, and perform manual testing as needed.
Agile Participation: Engage in all aspects of the Agile process, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
System Design & Documentation: Contribute to design specifications and system architecture for new development and ensure thorough documentation is created.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Participate in cross-team efforts to complete assignments and enhance product quality.
Additional Information:
Rate: Up to 300 PLN/day
Contract Duration: Initial contract (3-6 months, with potential for extension).
Work Location: Krakow.
