Our client plays a major role in the Belgian and European energy landscape, building sustainable, green and reliable energy infrastructure. The company is seeking freelancers to work remotely and locally on various national and international projects. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of French or Dutch is an advantage.

The perfect candidate for this position is a Sparx Enterprise Architect Modeler with experience in business architecture principles, methodologies, and the Sparx Enterprise Architect toolset.

Service description:
Their department supports the carbon-neutral transition by advising on policy, partnering with customers, and designing a consumer-centric electrical system. They ensure safe operations, optimize assets, and develop stability tools.
Key challenges:
• Integrating renewables and storage securely.
• Shifting to a consumer-centric market design.
• Understanding customer needs and impacts of electrification.
• Ensuring affordability and cost-efficiency.
They use business architecture to align implementations with their goals, modeled in Sparx Enterprise Architect.


The service consists of the following tasks:

You will work closely with four business architects, implementing models in Sparx Enterprise Architect from provided inputs. You will ensure consistency in architectural artefacts from around 35 business analysts, focusing on capability maps, high-level processes, and information models.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage and ensure consistency in business architecture referential.
• Participate in modeling governance and update models as needed.
• Provide modeling and tooling support.
• Create high-quality reports and dashboards.
• Stay updated with industry best practices.
• Help create training materials for Enterprise Architect.

Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Sparx Enterprise Architect Modeler or similar role.
2. Strong understanding of business architecture principles and methodologies.
3. Expert proficiency in Sparx Enterprise Architect, including customization via scripting.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
7. Experience with UML, BPMN, ArchiMate, and TOGAF is a plus.
8. Certification in Sparx Enterprise Architect is desirable.
