This position requires the fulfilment of at least 7 of the 8 listed requirements:

  1. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as Business Analyst for HR activities with good understanding of the importance of HR processes for other departments of a company.
  2. Languages: Fluent in English and one of the following Dutch/French/German
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a willingness to think outside the box and roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
  4. Experience with designing user stories, test scenarios, performing testing and monitoring UAT testing
  5. Capable of forming the bridge between the business and the HR+ product team
  6. Experience with S/4HANA, SAP HR module, the standard functionalities like OM & PA and Fiori app is a plus.
  7. Good communication skills to interact with users and stakeholders effectively
  8. Good knowledge of BPMN and UML and functional documentation skills
Service description:
Our client plays a major role in the Belgian and European energy landscape, building sustainable, green and reliable energy infrastructure. The company is seeking freelancers to work remotely and locally on various national and international projects.

The perfect candidate for this position is a HR+ Business Analyst with experience in HR processes.

The service consists of the following tasks:

Our client is currently transitioning their SAP IT operating model to a product-oriented approach. In this context, they are looking for a Business Analyst who would like to support their Group SAP HR+ product. A SCRUM/Agile approach is practiced in the products - the focus is on both the operation of current solutions and implementation of new tools and solutions.
Our client runs on an S/4HANA system with a high emphasis on leveraging a good user experience through for example Fiori. They have the ambition to transition to a private cloud solution by 2027 and follow a Fiori-first approach.

  1. Together with the colleagues in the Product Team, the consultant will constantly working on improving business processes and applications linked to HR by analyzing, describing and defining business requirements as well as their modeling,
  2. Independently manage new requirements, write functional specifications and functional documentation of the technologies.
  3. Definition and validation of user stories and definition of acceptance criteria according to the requirements,
  4. Preparation of the test scenarios and support of the test and acceptance processes,
  5. Ensuring 2nd level support of applications provided by the HR+ product (mainly on Fiori)
  6. Identifying and analyzing bugs in the system and proposing solutions for correction
  7. Ensure that the technical solution fits to the business process and aligns with corresponding products on interfaces and dependencies (e.g. Finance, Controlling. Procurement).
  8. Advising the Product Owner and challenging the customer on functional specifications regarding the optimal IT solution
  9. Working with various stakeholders and product teams in Germany and Belgium to evaluate, prioritize and plan the further development and maintenance of the product,
  10. Further development of specialist reporting and implementation of data analyses to support business decisions
