This position requires the fulfilment of at least 6 of 7 of the listed requirements:

Service description:
Our client plays a major role in the Belgian and European energy landscape, building sustainable, green and reliable energy infrastructure. The company is seeking freelancers to work remotely and locally on various national and international projects.

The perfect candidate for this position is a Grid Study Support Engineer with experience in grid connection studies and technical analysis of energy systems.

The mission consists of:
  1. The company, a European transmission system operator, operates in Belgium and Germany, ensuring reliable and sustainable electricity supply.
  2. As part of the Client Connection Office, the mission focuses on supporting grid developers in designing solutions for connecting new and existing grid users.

The service consists of the following tasks:

  1. Support Grid Developers in conducting studies for new or reinforced grid connections
  2. Assist in preparing customer reports based on technical studies
  3. Independently handle simple customer cases as experience grows
  4. Monitor progress of customer studies using dashboards
  5. Analyze process bottlenecks and propose improvements
  6. Contribute to optimization of processes and document management
  7. Ensure alignment of assumptions across customer studies to maintain consistency
  8. Support the overall client connection process within the team
