Description

This is a great role for a Field Engineer working for a high profile renewable energy company on an initial 12 month contract. The role is on site 5 days a week and the role will be joining a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment.
  • Conduct thorough system troubleshooting and fault diagnosis to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all site activities and technical procedures.
  • Uphold and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards at all times.
  • Provide technical support and insights to project stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Assist in project handover and acceptance processes, ensuring all technical and operational requirements are met.

Experience Needed:

  • Proven engineering experience in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects
  • Possession of a valid Low Voltage (LV) Certificate.
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Willingness and ability to work 5 days a week on site
