Description

Title: Firewall Architect
Duration: 6-12 Months Rolling Contract
Location: Remote Working - LUXEMBOURG - (1 or 2 days a month onsite in Luxembourg is needed)
Budget: €630 per day, all inclusive

Client is based in Luxembourg and selected candidate must be onsite 1 or 2 days a month (non-negotiable)

Candidate must be an EU Citizen and based in an EU nation state for security reasons


We are looking for a Firewall Architect with the following experience

Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:
  1. Strong experience with firewall platforms (e.g., Fortinet, Checkpoint, IPTABLE or equivalent).
  2. Proficiency in automation tools, especially Ansible and AWX.
  3. Hands-on experience with NetBox for infrastructure documentation and automation. (MANDATORY)
  4. Solid skills in Linux and bash.
Automation Experience:
  1. Proven track record in deploying automated firewall solutions at scale.
  2. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating infrastructure automation workflows.
Soft Skills:
  1. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  2. Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  3. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred: (BONUS)
  1. Certifications such as Red Hat Certified Specialist in Security: Linux, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent.
  2. Familiarity with GitLab or equivalent for managing automation code.
