Tasks:
Autonomously leading Production Expansion Initiatives
Drive the expansion of pharmaceutical production capacity at the Budapest manufacturing site, ensuring full alignment with regulatory standards (GMP) and project milestones for a CAPEX investment.
Independently coordinating with Engineering and Process Partners
Manage and collaborate closely with leading Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) firms (e.g., Fluor, Jacobs, IST) throughout the conceptual, basic, and detailed design phases. Oversee technical negotiations and supplier onboarding processes.
On own initiative overseeing Pharmaceutical Equipment Installation
Supervise installation and commissioning of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and services from a procurement perspective, ensuring full compliance with technical specifications, industry best practices, and project quality standards.
On own responsibility executing Projects and Managing Risks
Actively drive project execution with a hands-on management style, focusing on risk identification, mitigation strategies, cost control, and schedule adherence throughout all project stages.
Self-reliantly managing Suppliers and Stakeholders
Maintain direct communication channels with key suppliers and contractors. Negotiate critical service agreements and monitor supplier performance to ensure seamless integration into the site expansion project.
Independently integrating Local Expertise and Regulatory Knowledge
Leverage strong knowledge of the Hungarian market and local regulatory environment to anticipate challenges, streamline permitting processes, provide knowledge on local suppliers, and facilitate smoother project execution.
Qualifications:
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (GMP/GDP)
Proven track record with CAPEX production expansion projects including references
Hands-on project management with Engineering companies and suppliers
Fluent in English (mandatory), Hungarian language skills (nice to have)
Local market knowledge in Hungary (preferred)
