Description

We are looking for one "remote Functional Tester" to start ASAP an initial 6-MONTH contract (extensions possible) for an international Org' -client in ROME, where 100% REMOTE work is possible. Possibility of extension based on performance and budget availability. English speaking environment. Our client is an international organisation in Rome and a great reference in any CV!

100% Off-site/Off-shore. A competitive rate will increase chances to be selected.

TASKS

Functional Testing

  • Develop test scenarios for the new functionalities being developed in particular for the changes to the workflows.
  • Performing Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing (including regression testing) of any improvements to the new functionality delivered. This will be in addition to any testing performed by Subject Matter Experts.
  • Perform post-implementation support for any new functionalities implemented. This will involve understanding any issues identified by users and testing any fixes to the functionality. It will include liaison with the relevant Subject Matter Expert, Functional Lead and if necessary the developer(s) in order to ensure that the functionality is fully understood.
  • Performing full testing of the functionalities released to validate that the environments have been set-up correctly and the software has been installed correctly.
  • Assisting the Functional lead in providing functional support to the production platform for:
    • the identification and resolution of functional bugs
    • the creation and management of new and existing users (internal and external)

Help desk

  • Reply to and resolve help desk tickets escalated to UN-client relating to User Management on a timely basis in accordance with the expected service levels

SKILLS

  • A university degree in business administration, ICT studies or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. It is preferred that the candidate is able to demonstrate experience in:
    • performing functional testing of IT applications;
    • creating technical documentation such as user guides, technical guides, templates, training materials
    • creating project level documents, to include but not limited to meeting minutes, system administration, standard operating procedures and various required documents to support system implementation
    • Experience with financial process analysis and financial system implementation
    • Suitability to undertake the responsibilities mentioned above at the required level
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and oral
    • Superior writing and editing skills in English
    • Expert skill in the use of Microsoft Powerpoint 2010 and Microsoft Word
    • Experience in the use of Sharepoint and Microsoft Visio beneficial
    • Familiarity with the United Nations common system or international financial institution is desirable
    • International experience working in several countries;
