For a global enterprise technology organization delivering large-scale cloud transformation programs, we are looking for an experienced GCP Cloud Network Engineer to support enterprise networking platforms built on Google Cloud.
Location: London, UK
Key Responsibilities & Experience
• Expert engineering experience building, configuring, and optimizing GCP-based networking at enterprise scale
• Strong hands-on knowledge of:
Dedicated Interconnect
VPC Network Peering
Cloud Routers
Firewalls
Google DNS
Cloud NAT
IAM
VPC Service Controls (VPC SC)
• Basic knowledge of connected workloads and services:
GKE
Compute Engine
Cloud SQL
Storage Buckets
Google Data & AI products
• Hands-on participation in projects involving:
Network deployment & implementation
Sustaining engineering
Network scaling
Technology refresh
Network optimization (non-production & production)
• Strong DevOps & CI/CD experience using:
Git
Terraform Cloud
HashiCorp Vault
Harness
Jenkins
• Manage incidents and problems related to enterprise networking connectivity
• Review and provide feedback on code changes
• Develop, deploy, and own lifecycle of solutions within the team
• Perform engineering tasks in line with control and security requirements
