GE Small world Solution Architect - Dublin

We are seeking an experienced GE Small world Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of GIS solutions and support asset strategy for a utilities customer.

Location: Dublin / Cork (preferred)

Work Model: Hybrid – need-based travel to Dublin/Cork

Contract Type: Contract

Duration: 6 months

Translate business requirements into High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents

Collaborate with customer technical teams for design validation and sign-off

Guide development teams during build and implementation phases

Design and implement solutions and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Develop web applications using GSS, Java, and open-source technologies

Integrate GE Smallworld with external systems via REST APIs using GSS

Design data update services for external integrations

Manage data migration from legacy systems to GE Smallworld

Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and client-facing presentations

Expertise in GE Smallworld Product Suite and layered products

Strong knowledge of Smallworld 5.x architecture

Experience with Mobile Enterprise Suite and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)

Proficiency in GSS, JavaScript, HTML5 for mobile and web development

Experience with system integrations (e.g., IBM Maximo)

Good communication skills

Customer-facing experience

Willingness to travel and ability to work with remote teams
