Description

Hello!

We are looking for a talented Global OT Security Engineer to drive the security narrative in the Operational Technology environment for permanent employment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the security infrastructure and focusing on enhancing the maturity levels of security processes, technologies, and architectures in alignment with local and operational technology resources and management.

The primary objective is to ensure real-time visibility into any threats in the Operational Technology environment, allowing us to respond effectively before any threat becomes a material risk to the organization. This position will also involve compliance with Operational Technology (OT) and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) requirements as well as internal standards, reporting directly to the Head of Cyber Security Platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advise OT stakeholders on appropriate OT security solutions and technologies that need to be deployed, and participate in necessary change management processes to stay updated with the ever-evolving cybersecurity threat landscape.

- Be part of a team that operates and enhances the organization’s operational security capabilities from a monitoring, detection, and response perspective. This includes consulting with operational technology stakeholders on best practices and industry standards focused on OT security.

- Support security system upgrades and application updates with a focus on improving security and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications:

- Thorough knowledge of Windows concepts, domains, Active Directory, and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, networks, data centers, cloud technologies, and application software. Familiarity with Linux and Unix is a plus.

- Experience with ICS systems and ICS security industry practices, such as the Purdue Model ISA-99, with exposure to operational technologies and processes (e.g., HMIs, PLCs, DCSs, SIS, EUC, VFD, PID).

- Comprehensive working knowledge of one or more of the following: IEC 62443/ISA 99, ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-82, CPNI Good Practice.

- Deep understanding of TCP/IP and other network protocols, with familiarity in DNS, DHCP, micro-segmentation, and virtualization.

German language - good to have.

If you're passionate about cybersecurity and ready to make a significant impact in the OT space, we want to hear from you!
