Guidewire Senior Developer / Consultant (Contract) UK Remote

Dear Consultant,

We are looking for an experienced Senior Guidewire Developer / Consultant to support a strategic policy and claims administration platform consolidation programme.

You will work on Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter v10, including cloud migration and implementation, configuring and customizing applications for new product lines of business within the insurance domain.

• Understand complex business requirements and translate into scalable technical solutions

• Design and develop enterprise-grade system modules

• Execute deployment of system features and ensure successful integration

• Maintain and enhance Guidewire platforms across lifecycle

• Drive performance tuning and future-proof solutions

• Apply Agile best practices in design and development

• Strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter & ClaimCenter v10

• Experience in Guidewire Cloud migration & implementation

• Hands-on with GOSU, XML, PCF, REST, SOAP

• Integration with:

Finance systems (General Ledger)

Payment systems

Document management systems

Third-party/broker policy management systems

• Experience migrating data from legacy systems to Guidewire

• Data reconciliation with Data Warehouse

• Strong insurance domain & claims process knowledge

• Experience creating high-level & low-level design documents

• GitHub or similar source control tools

• Agile SDLC experience

• Guidewire ACE certification (preferred)

• Java, Python, PL/SQL

• Spring Boot, React, Angular

• Oracle DB, MS SQL

• Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes

• AppDynamics, Splunk

• Kanban & Scrum

Location: London, Onsite – Norwich or Perth, UK (Hybrid)/ or Remote UK)
