Head of Brand & Events Marketing- London/Hybrid- 10 Months- £400-£430 PAYE

A global technology company are looking for an experienced Head of Brand & Events Marketing to join their team on an initial 10 month assignment. The strategic brand marketing leader will have the opportunity to lead the brand and events functions, and deliver against commercial and brand goals, whilst partnering with cross- functional teams to execute with excellence. The successful candidate will have prior experience working in brand/campaigns (agency or client side), ideally in tech but not essential, and have experience in driving performance across an events programme.


  • Coach, lead and develop a team of 5
  • Lead the Brand and Events annual strategy that ladders backup to drive the broader business and commercial strategy
  • Support the team with building the brand and events FY24 plan that needs to align to the marketing strategy and support our core audiences and products
  • Lead full annual UK brand campaign planning process to ensure the brand strategy and creative aligns to the business and brand vision as well as the global brand direction
  • Coach the team on fast learning cycles and testing to continuously improve growth outcomes
  • Review performance on a weekly basis and actively analyse data and identify insights for improvement. Provide clear and relevant performance insights to stakeholder
  • Partner with global brand research and local analytics teams to develop measures and targets that enable us to assess how effectively we are achieving our business vision, as well as brand, product and marketing goals
  • Help employees manage career development, evaluate performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.


  • 10+ years of marketing experience, including 5 years of building and leading teams, informing brand strategy and creative development, campaign ownership and performance analysis across marketing activity
  • Track record of building out a brand strategy that drives business and brand results and engages with core audiences
  • Experience in brand funnel and perception tracking, as well as experience in assessing performance of creative executions
  • Ability to successfully communicate and pitch a local market brand agenda with global stakeholders by leveraging data and insight
  • Track record in partnering directly with other functions across marketing to develop successful integrated campaigns that deliver business results
  • Experience planning E2E events from initial strategic conception all the way through to analysing event performance and teaming up with sales to determine commercial impact
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with clear examples of using data actively for customer insights, measurements, ROI analysis and recommendations
  • Strong track record of leadership and people management, including influencing in a cross- functional, fast-moving environment
  • Experience creating and executing high-impact multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels
