For my client i am currently looking for a Head of Station Operations (Rail) (m/w/d)
Details:
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Duration: until 2027
Start: asap

Targets and Responsibilities of Position:

• Overview the contractors' management of the passenger stations including platform management (e.g., crowd management) and station staffing.
• Development and execution of knowledge transfer for all station operation-related disciplines.

Tasks to be performed:

• Management of all aspects of station facilities including but not limited to customer service, cleanliness, security, and passenger amenities.
• Ensure a seamless and pleasant experience for passengers at all stations and at all times.
• Oversee the daily operations of stations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Supervise station staff, including customer service representatives, security personnel, and cleaning crews.
• Implement customer service standards and training programs for station employees.
• Monitor station cleanliness, maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with vendors for station amenities, services, and retail spaces.
• Address customer complaints, feedback, and inquiries to enhance passenger experience.
• Collaborate with marketing teams for station branding and promotional activities.
• Ensure stations comply with accessibility standards and regulations.
• Report contractors' compliance with the station operation plans.
• Propose amendments to plans where necessary.
• Report reactions and measures taken by contractors in abnormal operation situations.

Technical Requirements:

• Project management skills.
• Railway Operation background (passenger high-speed or long-distance intercity).
• Minimum academic degree: B.Sc. Engineering.

Work Experience: (relevant technical/management experience, in years)

• Minimum 10 years in the rail industry.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership position.
• Minimum 10 years in a similar position.
• International experience, preference for GCC.

Further Requirements: (e.g., DB candidate, ...)

• DB background preferred.

Language Skills:

• English (fluent).
• Arabic (preferred).
• German (preferred).
