Cabin Readiness Testing
Duration: 2 months and Extendable
Location: Málaga, Spain – Onboard the ship
Start Date: May 6th Possible extension: Additional 3 weeks
Shift: 10 hours per day – 6 days a week onboard the ship
Requirements: Must be available to travel to Italy and Gibraltar (an ETA will be required for entry into the UK) on the boat.

we are looking for a candidate for the role of Device Quality Tester.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform manual testing of mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms
Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases
Conduct functional, regression, performance, usability, and UI/UX testing
Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA
Verify bug fixes and coordinate retesting as needed
Ensure compatibility across different devices, screen sizes, and OS versions
Write clear and concise test reports and documentation

Project Overview:
The focus will be on testing crew cabin automation systems onboard the ship.
These cabins are fully automated and controlled via Android-based tablets, which manage:
• TV, Room functions, Food booking, App access, and more
The testing will cover:
• Integration of various functionalities
• End-to-end test cases for each system across multiple cabins
Team & Logistics:
• 3 contractors needed
• Each will be supported by an experienced team member
• 1-day induction provided before testing starts
Work Schedule & Onboarding
• Contractors are expected to work 6 consecutive days, followed by 1 day off.
• Disembarkation is only permitted on their designated day off, and each contractor will have a different assigned day off.
• Workdays will be 10 hours long, starting between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM, beginning with a daily stand-up to assign tasks.
• The planned start date is May 6th, though we can accommodate a later start of May 8th if necessary.
Travel & Location
• For contractors based in Spain, Coforge will cover a round-trip (train or flight) to Malaga for those not currently located there.
• The ship will travel twice to Gibraltar, and there is a planned trip to Italy on July 7th. Coforge will assume the cost of the ETA required for all European citizens to travel to the UK.
• Depending on workload and project needs, some or all contractors may be asked to extend their contracts to cover the extension period. (We will have clarity on this at the end of June)
International Candidates
• We can consider candidates from other European countries as Germany.
• For these contractors, Coforge will cover flights to and from Malaga (arrival on Day 1 of the contract and return on the last day).
