This role requires a proactive and hands-on professional with a strong background in the pharmaceutical sector.Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage HSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with Spanish and EU regulations. -
Conduct risk assessments, hazard analysis, and site inspections to identify and mitigate risks. -
Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety legislation, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). -
Lead HSE training programs and awareness campaigns for employees at all levels. -
Monitor and report on HSE performance, incidents, and near misses, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are effectively implemented. -
Manage emergency response and crisis management plans. -
Liaise with regulatory authorities, external auditors, and company stakeholders regarding HSE compliance. -
Promote a strong safety culture through leadership, engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. -
Minimum 7+ years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing. -
Strong knowledge of Spanish and EU health, safety, and environmental regulations. -
Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and GMP compliance. -
Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations. -
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change. -
Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and verbal). -
NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification is a plus.
