IFS DEVELOPER/LEAD CONTRACT - HYBRID - READING

Hiring Sr. IFS Developer to join their ongoing project team for one of our telecom customer in Reading, UK.

9 months contract + possible extension

Hybrid: 2 days/week in Reading is required.

The role holder is the solution architect for IFS ERP system (from Human Resources, Finance and Accounting, Project Management, Procurement to Payment, Logistics and Inventory, Order to Cash, Documentation Management). This role requires reasonable business understanding across all the functions and provides the first line of consultancy to various SME to optimise the business process and IFS user experience.

Key Deliverables to the Role:

  • Accountable for IFS Lobby, BA and Crystal Reporting, Data Analytics and SQL Queries
  • Accountable for the contract management of the IFS hosting and services contract and other external suppliers
  • Accountable the IFS development road map and support model and relevant policy and procedures and ensure compliance with client's corporate IT, data security and internal controls requirements
  • Accountable for IFS development policy and procedures and ensure compliance with IT infrastructure and security compliance and general internal controls principles
  • Ensuring the IFS E2E solution is efficient and effective
  • Dealing with a multi-party projects with potentially conflicting interests.
  • Ensuring change and development are managed in accordance with IT corporate policy in a extremely fast changing environment

Professional qualifications or equivalent experience, and any necessary technical skills

  • University/College degree or degree calibre preferably from telecommunications or computer Engineering background
  • Working knowledge and experience of IFS Lobby, BA and Crystal Reporting
  • Demonstrable experience of project delivery on time and to customer satisfaction
  • Advance SQL skills and SAS experience (data analytics tool)
  • Ability to respond flexibly to design challenges arising from the Acquisition and Implementation processes.
  • Business Improvement Experience
  • Experience of Matrix and functional management environments is desirable.
  • Experience of running Technical Review meetings with Vendors.
