Description
Implementation Consultant/Business Analysts with OMS implementation experience within sell-side is required for a 6-month initial contract with a major Investment Bank. You will have had end-to-end implementation of an Order Management System. The candidate should also possess a working knowledge of sell-side investment technology, strong data analysis and technical skills as well as a good understanding of the investment process and financial markets.
This is working on an implementation of Flextrade OEMS
This role is fully remote
Responsibilities:
Works directly with vendor product development teams to evaluate and recommend solutions.
This BA role is technical and functional, and Financial Services domain experience is a must.
Need to be able to understand Order Management Systems, life of an equity order and trade and regulatory aspect of trading:
Adheres to established standards and maintains currency in business analysis practices, procedures and techniques.
Consults with users to identify, analyze, refine and document business requirements.
Experience:
- Sell-side investment technology implementation experience
- Must have worked on an OMS implementation, ideally Flextrade
- Equity trading workflows
- Sell-side domestic and international equity trading business - both in Algo space and Retail
- knowledge of FIX Messaging protocol and ability to read and understand FIX format Messages
- Experience implementing software in a large-scale environment
- Good understanding of software product development lifecycle is a plus
- Working knowledge of trading systems and network infrastructures
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
- Strong understanding of the financial markets, front and back office
