Invoicing Analyst (Mid-Level) - Cork, Ireland

12-Month Contract | Possibility of Extension

We're seeking a mid-level Invoicing Analyst to join a high-performing finance team on an initial 12-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension. This role suits someone who is analytical, detail-focused, and comfortable working across partners, data, and customer-facing processes.

The Role

As an Invoicing Analyst, you'll collaborate closely with merchants, issuers, and network partners to support financial performance and improve customer outcomes. You'll analyse invoicing data, identify gaps and anomalies, and support continuous improvement initiatives across billing, VAT, and partner processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with merchants, issuers, and network partners to support financial and commercial wins
  • Support partner onboarding, including customer-facing engagement
  • Identify omitted or inaccurate data and make recommendations, including accruals
  • Build effective working relationships with the Partner Relations team
  • Use data sets and reporting to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Review and analyse customer feedback, distilling and quantifying key themes
  • Support customer experience improvements, including documenting process flows, testing, and implementation support
  • Manage and investigate VAT changes and anomalies, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and maintain reports to support decision-making and performance tracking
Skills & experience
  • Mid-level experience in invoicing, billing, finance analysis, or a related role
  • Strong skills in report preparation and data analysis
  • Hands-on experience with invoicing and billing processes
  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying and analysing data
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and anomalies
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • experience working with VAT or tax-related finance data is highly desirable
