Role: IT Business Analyst - Integration
Location: Lisbon - hybrid 2 days per week
Duration: 6 months
Rate: €200 per day
Key Essential Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, working in an IT and/or technical environment is essential
- Insurance business knowledge to understand business cases
- Strong knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques, such as user stories, use cases, wireframes, UML, BPMN, etc.
- experience in design of API's, evaluation of service catalogues to fit the business requirements
- Basic knowledge and general perception (high-level view) of ESB, API's and integration
- Experience in working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban
- Experience in Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA, Trello)
Desirable Skills
- Previous or current experience in testing would be an advantage
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Use of English as a working language (both written and spoken)
- Must be able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Overview:
We are looking for an IT Business Analyst based in Lisbon whose primary focus will be to design the solutions for the Integration Layer of our IT landscape the supports our insurance business across in Europe within a Transformation Programme.
The IT Business Analyst for Integration team is expected to be a technical background and experience and have excellent communication skills and can adapt to a fast and ever-changing landscape.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Liaise between the business by understanding their requirement and the technical component - general notion of API's, service bus, integration etc.
- Perform business requirement mapping for technical components (eg: APIs)
- Document the requirements for the interfaces in scope for each project/release and keep it updated
- Support any queries from development team and testing phases
