IT Support Specialist, Windows, SCCM, AD, Hybrid
3rd Line IT Support Specialist required for a well-known organisation based in Bristol.
The successful candidate will be required to Perform Server management and elements of desktop fleet configuration.
Please note, engagement is via umbrella company only.
General responsibilities: -
- Server management
- Research unfamiliar technologies and implement them according to industry standard
- Produce technical documentation
- Provide 3rd line support for escalated incidents/issues reported to IT Services
- Provide 1st and 2nd line fixes when required.
- Act as a Technical Service Manager for new and existing services.
Skills and experience: -
- A good understanding of ITIL concepts and experience
- An understanding of Change Management
- Windows Operating Systems (Linux & MacOS would be desirable)
- Hardware eg workstations, virtual & physical Servers
- Software packaging/preparing applications for silent install/uninstall]
- Configuration management technologies eg SCCM, Active Directory inc. Group Policy
- PowerShell, Python or Bash
- Cloud technologies Azure, Office 365 or AWS (including SSO)
- Mobile Device Management eg Intune.
