ITIL/Service Transition Manager - 3+ months - 100% Remote - Start ASAP

For our international client, we are looking for an experienced ITIL/Service Transition Manager.

You will act as an interface between the project team and the operations team and will ensure a smooth transition to operations.

You will be responsible for ensuring that new solutions, processes and procedures are technically sound, fully documented and seamlessly handed over to the client's Operations/Support teams.

You are the gatekeeper of production stability.

Tasks:

* Act as ITIL/Service Transition Manager

* Ensure smooth transition to operations team

* Ensure new solutions, processes and procedures are stable and transitioned to operations/support team

* Operational Readiness: Define and enforce "Ready for Production", "Handover sign-off" and "documentation readiness" criteria for the project team

* Document and hand over to support team

* Manage ticket triage, prioritization and developer-to-support communication

* Coordinate and facilitate training sessions between subject matter experts and support staff

* Stakeholder Management

* Exit Governance: Manage the formal sign-off process to transition ownership from Project to BAU (Business as Usual).

Requirements:

* Extensive project experience in IT Project Management, IT Service Management and/or IT Transition Management

* Strong project experience with ITIL v4 (specifically Service Transition and Service Design)

* Splunk or security tooling implementation experience

* Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management)

* PMP or Prince2 Certification

* Preferred: ITIL v4 Managing Professional (MP) or Strategic Leader (SL) designation qualification

* Experience in large international project environments

* Project experience in the manufacturing industry, production industry, automotive or automotive supplier industry

* Fluency in English

* Start: ASAP

* Duration: 3 months (+ option to extend)

* Workload: 5 days per week

* Location: 100% Remote

* Languages: Fluency in English
