Java Developer - HIRING ASAP
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: 1 week in Galway office, 3 weeks working from home
Rate: €490 per day

Our client, within the Financial Services sector in Ireland, is looking for a Principal Java Engineer to join their ever-growing team.
You will support a team within Stock Plan Services, an emerging equity compensation services division of Fidelity Investments. You will be accountable in helping the team deliver on their top priority goals and objectives. Quality is important to this team, as is our reputation for honesty and openness in dealing with each other and our partners.

Key Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (eg Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required
- 8+ years of Java EE development on high volume enterprise systems
- Proven expertise developing JAVA middle tier rest services and with Enterprise messaging like ActiveMQ, Kafka
- Experience with PL/SQL and complex queries
- Understanding of Relational Databases
- Proven understanding of Cloud Computing and DevOps concepts like CI/CD pipelines in an AKS Azure environment
- Demonstrated experience of leading engineering teams
- AWS & Azure skills an advantage
