My website developed 10 years ago with Joomla 3.x.x needs a full migration and upgrade.
Key tasks:
1. Backup the existing site.
2. Set up a copy on my A2 Hosting server.
3. Upgrade from Joomla 3.10.4 and PHP 7.0.33 to the latest versions.
4. Migrate all content, components, extensions, etc.
5. Identify incompatible components/extensions and find suitable replacements.
6. Propose a low-risk plan to replace the existing site with the upgraded copy.
You will need to consult with me on:
- Components/extensions: I may not know which are essential.
- New features: I'm open to suggestions for improvements.
Ideal skills for this job include:
- Joomla expertise, particularly with version 3.x.x.
- PHP knowledge.
- Experience in website migration.
- Problem-solving abilities for finding component replacements.
- Excellent communication for consultations and proposals.
