3/6 Month Contract. Inside IR35 London based onsite
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Juniper Consultant with deep expertise in Juniper SRX platforms to join a high-impact project in London. The ideal candidate will be confident working at a JNCIP/E level, with strong hands-on experience in CLI-based configuration and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot Juniper SRX Firewalls in complex enterprise environments.
- Implement security policies, NAT, VPNs, and routing protocols using CLI.
- Collaborate with network architects and security teams to ensure robust and secure network infrastructure.
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Participate in change management and incident resolution processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience with Juniper SRX Firewalls in enterprise environments.
- JNCIP or JNCIE certification (Security or Enterprise) is required.
- Strong command-line interface (CLI) configuration skills.
- In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPNs (IPSec, SSL), and Firewall policies.
- Experience working in environments governed by IR35 regulations.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with automation tools (eg, Ansible, Python Scripting for Junos).
- Familiarity with other Juniper platforms (MX, EX).
- Previous consultancy or client-facing experience.
