*Hybrid, 3 days onsite, 2 days remote*
A prestigious financial firm needs a Knowledge Management Business Analyst Contractor. This contractor will support the knowledge management team and be the liaison between the core KM team, business units, IT delivery teams, and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Interface with stakeholders to identify, analyze and research business needs.
- Create documentation including business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, feature descriptions, user guides, process flows, and presentations.
- Conduct analysis and research regarding best practices in the industry for KM frameworks.
- Conduct analysis and research to define the internal knowledge estate at the company
- Document current state and assist in future state design.
- Conduct gap analysis to inform overall strategy and prioritization of work.
- Participate in development of knowledge tools and approaches.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in knowledge or information studies.
- Strong understanding of KM principles and processes.
- Good business process re-engineering and project management skills.
- Fluent in critical thinking, structured analysis, and problem solving.
- Fluent in change management practices.
- Proficient in breaking down knowledge and information silos.
- Proficient in SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Confluence and Jira.
- Experience in ServiceNow a plus.
- Experience with agile software development.
- Bachelor's degree.
