Description
Italian speaking L3 Network Engineer with 5 to 8 years' experience with expertise in LAN, WAN, wireless and Firewall technologies is needed for a 6-month project in Milan paying €400 to €450 a day all inclusive. The L3 Network Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining complex networks, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring network security.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain complex LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- Troubleshoot network issues, diagnose problems, and identify root causes.
- Configure and maintain Firewalls and network security devices.
- Provide L3 support to resolve escalated network issues.
- Monitor network performance and provide performance reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Participate in the design and implementation of network solutions.
- Develop and maintain network documentation.
- Perform network capacity planning and analysis.
- Stay up to date with emerging network technologies and trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in network engineering
- Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, wireless and Firewall technologies
- In-depth understanding of routing and switching protocols
- Experience with network security technologies such as VPN, IDS/IPS, and ACLs
- Experience with network monitoring and performance tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIP are a plus.
Language Requirements:
- Must be a native Italian speaker.
