I am hiring a Lead Administrator with the below skill set for our multinational client with an open project in Stockholms.

• Providing L3+ support for >8 datacenters which is in Europe
• Working on Legacy/Virtualization/Azure Cloud Environment
• Installing, Upgrading & removing patches on Red Hat/SUSE Linux servers on regular basis to fix security vulnerabilities and for better performance
• Working on usual infrastructure Incidents, change request and Problem management for all supported clients.
• Filesystem management Creation/Increase/Removal in LVM on Linux servers
• Install and Configuring TSM/Commvault backup agent and ensure to have a proper backup in place based on the environment
• Acknowledging security vulnerability incidents and fixing it on priority based on CVE Score
• Upgrading the OS from SLES11 SP4 to SLES12 SP5 and SLES15 SP3 based on the requirements
• Working with Vendor for replacing failed hardware parts / Root Cause analysis
• Involved DR calls / activity and External Auditing calls for multiple clients calls
• Managing SUSE Manager server, pulling latest patches from SUSE for regular updates on servers
• Storage migration from 3PAR to Nimble to get a better IO performance for big DB using OS native command lvconvert
• Process and performance monitoring & Server decommissioning
• Handling multiple two-node cluster in HPE Service Guard Cluster (Prod, Dev, Sandbox and Quality) on 3PAR storage with peer persistence LUN’s
• Administer, maintain and support Linux (RHEL/Suse/Ubuntu/CentOS) operating systems
• Resolve major incidents and technical escalations within agreed SLAs and quality.
• Problem Management: Perform root cause analysis for problems and major incidents, provide workarounds to ensure business continuity and prepare RCA reports.
• Change Management: Prepare Implementation plan, rollback plan and test plan, risk and impact analysis for critical or complex changes. Review the change plan and documentation prepared by level 2 engineers or peers.
• Participate in CAB meetings as needed and assist change manager in techno-operations decision process
• Install hardware and software, maintain appropriate service levels, performance tuning and firmware upgrades across multiple hardware platforms.
• Perform advance tasks such as, capacity planning, performance monitoring, provide recommendations for improvement and implement or oversee implementation of the recommendations.
• Perform system software upgrades including planning / scheduling, testing, coordination, and maintaining integrity of operating system environment.
• Harden operating system parameters in line with client / Dimension Data security policy, standards, or best practices.
• Respond to outages both during normal business hours and after-hours on a need basis (on-call support).
• Documentation, knowledge sharing and training of junior members.
• Coordinating and interfacing with outside vendors, end users, other department team members, and service providers to resolve issues.
• Analyse data, oversee and contribute to service improvements.
• Oversee tasks executed by junior members and stand in for them if needed
• Automation via puppet. Should be L2+ in scripting
