Description

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our central government client, who is seeking a AWS Infrastructure Engineer for an initial six-month assignment with the option to extend.

Location: Hybrid working - London, Bristol or Manchester

About the role: You will be responsible for ensure services are integrated, delivered and operated as required.

The ideal candidate will hold Active SC clearance and have a strong background in delivery AWS Infrastructure/Platform support, with the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in implementing and administering cloud technologies and services, particularly in AWS (EKS, ELK, Cognito, DynamoDb, RDS, IAM, Glue, Systems Manager, API Gateway, and Lambda)
  • Experience in multiple Scripting and programming languages, such as Shell Scripting, JavaScript, Node.js, and Python.
  • Knowledge of linux/unix OS and open source ecosystem
  • Experience of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitHub etc)
  • Experience in leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
  • Experience in containerisation and deployment with Docker and Kubernetes.
