Job Description:

The candidate should be hands-on, and will shadow solution team to write the operational procedure. The solution under development is intended to extend the existing HDE tooling in order to provision desktops and some supporting server functions for the Birmingham location. Can cope with an evolving environment where requirements are liable to change

5) Support Data Movement request one desktop to another desktop

6) Networking and Firewall Management

7) VMWare Management

8) SAN and Disk Management

9) Hardware Asset Management

10) Servers Maintenance

11) Desktop Technical Faults 1st Line Support

12) Backup and Restore

13) Capacity Management and Server Tuning

14) License and CERT Management

15) Automate manual work

16) Problem diagnosis and support

17) Software Tools Installation and Management

18) Enable the environment by using puppet framework based on the design

19) Flexibility to travel to remote places on demand (Birmingham + Croydon)
