Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Netherlands
Contract Duration: 12 months
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Work Arrangement: On-site four days per week, with one day working from home
Languages Required: Dutch and English
Compensation: Hourly rateAbout the Role

A leading medical device company in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support maintenance strategy, life cycle management, and equipment efficiency analysis within a regulated environment. While experience in the medical device industry is preferred, applicants with a pharmaceutical background are also encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Analyse equipment efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish and execute a maintenance strategy to support operational reliability.
  • Oversee life cycle management processes to maintain compliance and sustainability.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to maintenance operations.
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Maintenance Engineering (mandatory).
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (mandatory).
  • Extensive knowledge of life cycle management and maintenance strategy.
  • Experience in medical devices is an advantage; applicants with pharmaceutical backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Familiarity with GMP regulations is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
