Manufacturing Applications Architect

Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension
Location: Remote - Occasional travel to sites in Europe/US
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Architect with Manufacturing applications/MES systems with experience of migrating manufacturing applications to the Cloud.
The successful candidate will work closely with the business to understand their current systems, plan for, and execute the application migration to optimize their use of cloud technology aligned with the desired target architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing client manufacturing applications and systems to determine cloud migration feasibility and execution plan.
- Developing and executing cloud migration plans for manufacturing applications, including data migration, system integration, and testing.
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure smooth and timely migrations of manufacturing applications to the Cloud aligned with target architecture.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on cloud migration best practices, security, and compliance requirements within the manufacturing environment.
- Ensuring successful post-migration operations and providing ongoing support to the client aligned with the plan.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Migration of manufacturing applications
- Proven experience in assessing complex manufacturing applications and systems for cloud migration, developing migration plans, and executing successful migrations.
- Strong knowledge and experience with manufacturing processes and systems, and the ability to translate those into cloud migration plans.
